Together, Magellan and Ignite created the first small, powerful, and expandable vehicle navigation system that can be easily taken outdoors and in-car seamlessly. The design challange was to bridge the look and feel between these two distinctly different environments.

To achieve this, a silicone skin was developed to make the product rugged for the great outdoors but is easily removable to match the sleek interior of your car.
